About

Art is something that I've always come back to. There is no right or wrong in photography, there is just expression. Whether through my songwriting, drawing, dancing or photography, my whole life has been immersed in the arts. In life, we don’t have much control over what happens, so I find that control in art. I am able to create and express whatever I want and that is what’s truly beautiful and inspiring.
Photography makes me whole, and I can escape into a creative world when I take photos. I am able to focus on what is in front of me and not worry about anything else. It is a way to feel present with what I am creating. I am specifically drawn to people, their emotions, and the stories that make them who they are. This intimate connection is captured in the portraits I take by the way the light focuses on the subject, by the perspective that the model is captured from, and what the eyes are drawn to. Intimacy is created from the eyes of the viewer and the eyes of the model, where patience and observation is key to understanding the untold stories that lie within my photographs.
